Connecting Schools Across the Globe

This blog will be documenting a new bond between Jefferson Middle School in Winston-Salem, NC and the Omalunga Primary School of Grootfontein, Namibia.

My family and I are moving to Grootfontein January 11th of 2010 to work with the kids in the community on many different levels.

We are excited to begin this bond between the two schools. The kids will have the opportunity to learn about each others cultures, what life is like on both sides of the Atlantic ocean, and more.

We hope to connect the kids via live video once a month and begin pen pals as well.
